Lost Mother Tongue Carved into Homes of Rock
A small-batch, seasonal mezcal made from 100% Cuishe agave (Agave karwinskii), a tall, slender variety native to Oaxaca that takes around 10–12 years to mature. Hand-crafted by the Romero family in Santiago Matalán, Oaxaca, and bottled at 46% ABV — a limited release shaped entirely by this single harvest.
Tasting Notes
Barbequed ribs over an earthen pit – but only for a second! The tingling sharpness of lime leaves, salt and cardamom quickly make their advance. With each sip the first and second flavours do battle almost as if they were two independent drams.
